I now know what the big deal is. I finally got a facebook account. And it is totally addicting. It was kind of like my Freshman year of college when I discovered "forwards" on the internet. I at one point was even printing them out. Why? I don't know. But you have to remember, this was when I first really used the internet...other than AOL chat rooms. Traci, if you're reading this, do you remember that? We used to hang out in her basement. I think we pretended we were psychics or some crap. Those were the days. Isn't it weird to think that now we take the internet for granted. Makes me feel old. Anyway, I digress. What I am trying to say, is that I see why Facebook is so addicting. You can catch up on all of the other people's lives without much effort. We as Americans have become lazy. No longer do we have to pick up the phone to find out. But I'm kind of enjoying the laziness.
I log on all the time. Like if I haven't been on in an hour, I check. It's a good thing I don't have it on my phone. I would never get any work done. Or I would be checking it while driving. That would be bad. I wonder how many Facebook Car Accidents there have been. I bet a lot. And what do you say? Oh, I'm sorry...I was checking to see if my friends had done anything cool today and was so surprised that Sarah became a fan of the Snuggie that I laughed. And when I laughed, I slapped my right knee...which hit the gas...and the rest is history.
Speaking of logging in...I love when that little red bubble pops up. It makes me happy. I have found lots of old friends. And it was easy! Now I log on all the time, just to see what they're up to. So it's kind of like stalking. Whoah. I went from catching up to stalking. And I think I'm beginning to measure my worth by the number of facebook friends I have. I'm like a facebook whore. Yep. Pimping myself out for friends. So, if you have a facebook account and we aren't friends yet, we so need to be....
Well, enough on facebook. It's been like an hour. I need to log in...
